Over three days the Executive Leadership Team travelled more than 7,000km’s across Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. We’re committed to learning more about our customers so we can provide them the best possible banking experience. Having a passion for customers is everyone’s job, we’re all accountable, not just our bankers on the frontline.

Albany, Western Australia
Our Chief Risk Officer, David Gall and Chief Customer Officer (acting), Corporate & Institutional Bank, Cathryn Carver visited our energetic team in Albany and spent time getting to know our customers, including the Great Southern Distillery. Founder Cameron Syme was inspired by stories from his distant relatives in Scotland and decided to follow his passion and open his own distillery. Now his products are internationally recognised.
Port Lincoln, South Australia
Our Chief Operating Officer, Antony Cahill and Chief Financial Officer, Gary Lennon spent time with our customers, including new small business, the Boston Bean Company and Eyre Peninsula Seafood in Port Lincoln, South Australia. Boston Bean Company are a great new specialty coffee business. Eyre Peninsula Seafood are a growing seafood business and one of the largest mussel producers in Australia. Antony Cahill & Gary Lennon also met with our bankers to get to know the team and the local community.
Our CEO, Andrew Thorburn met with NAB customer, Barrier Group and visited our team in Geelong. We’re proud to have backed Barrier Group, since 1999. In that time they have grown from a having a single product offering to a wide range of more than 700 safety products. Barrier Group specialise in safety products for commercial and industrial businesses as well as institutions and workplaces.
