Top-performing suppliers big winners in national awards
Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), SEMA, Recoveries Corporation Group and Digital Realty Trust have claimed top honours in the National Australia Bank Supplier Awards last night.
The annual awards program recognises high-performing suppliers who have delivered exceptional value and service to NAB over the past year.
Thirteen finalists were announced during this year’s awards, with winners named in four distinct categories aligning to NAB’s business priorities and focus.
Pricewaterhouse Coopers Indigenous Consulting (PIC) business took out the supplier diversity category as a result of its commitment to diversity and corporate responsibility, being majority owned, led and staffed by Indigenous Australians.
Direct Mail Marketing House SEMA were recognised for their innovation in creating their enterprise marketing platform, allowing for one to one customer conversations and yielding significant cost savings across NAB.
Data centre solutions firm, Digital Realty Trust picked up the award for environmental sustainability; delivering Australia’s first LEED Platinum certified data centre – a global best practice design certification, which has substantially reduced NAB’s overall carbon footprint.
The Product and Service Excellence category was won by receivables management firm, Recoveries Corporation Group.
NAB General Manager of Procurement and Sourcing, Harry Drakos, said the awards program was a unique way to recognise top performers in NAB’s supply chain.
“We want to inspire all of our suppliers to achieve their potential and we try to foster relationships that go beyond the traditional supply and demand arrangements,” he said.
“It’s a great opportunity to stop and reflect on the year that has been and highlight the critical contribution our suppliers have made to the long-term success of NAB.”
The NAB Supplier Awards program has recognised fourteen suppliers over the four years since its inception.
