NAB will temporarily close 46 branches and eight business centres across Queensland and Northern New South Wales over the next two days in response to the imminent threat posed by Cyclone Alfred. The precautionary measure is being taken to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues.
NAB’s local Personal Banking Executive Tony Story said that while there will be temporary closures, teams across the nation are prepared to support customers affected by the cyclone.
“We apologise for the inconvenience these closures may cause. We want our customers to know that we are here to help and are fully committed to supporting their banking needs during this challenging time,” Mr Story said.
“Customers can still access our ATM network during this time, and we are committed to keeping cash supplies available.”
“Our teams are also members of the community too, and they’re deeply connected to their neighbours. We want to ensure their safety and provide them with enough time to prepare their homes and families amid the risk posed by Cyclone Alfred.”
