$2.6 million transformation: A modern, open-plan hub designed for the Kingaroy community.
Digital banking made easy: New technology and improved accessibility for every customer.
Local faces, local service: NAB thanks Gary Barron for hosting team during transformation.
NAB has reopened its Kingaroy branch after a $2.6 million upgrade, creating a modern banking hub for locals.
The revitalised branch now brings business and personal banking together under one roof, designed to make banking simpler and more accessible.
After two months of refurbishment and the successful deployment of the temporary ‘Bank in a Box’ to keep services running, the doors at 206 Kingaroy Street are open once again.
“Our Kingaroy branch has been here for more than 100 years and a hub for our community,” NAB Kingaroy branch manager Michael Everson said.
“We’re thrilled to invite locals back into a space that’s been designed with them in mind. Whether you’re popping in for everyday banking or planning your next big move, our team is here to help, and we’re excited to show off the new look!”
The upgraded branch features:
A refreshed, open-plan layout for better customer service
New technology to support digital banking and self-service
Improved accessibility and energy-efficient design
NAB also thanked local business owners who supported the upgrade, including Gary Barron, who provided the site for the temporary Bank in a Box.
“Keeping banking accessible during the upgrade was important to me. It’s great to see the new branch open and ready to support families and businesses. We’re proud to have helped NAB continue serving the community,” Mr Barron said.
The Kingaroy branch is open from Monday, 13 October, and the familiar faces of the NAB Kingaroy team are ready to assist customers in their new home.
