NAB opens more branches on Saturdays

  • Saturday trading extended to 29 NAB branches
  • $41 million invested into NAB branches
  • Locations based on high foot traffic areas across the country

NAB has today announced the addition of 17 new branches to its list of locations open on Saturday, bringing the number to 29.

The move follows the successful trial of 12 branches opening for Saturday trading in November 2024, which received fantastic feedback from customers and community. 39 new ATMs are also being installed across the network, responding customer demand for cash services in specific locations.

Executive for Personal Bank, Paul Carter said while more than 93% of banking interactions are online, face-to-face service would always be part of NAB’s philosophy.

“NAB’s Personal Bank is changing and while we know that digital banking is by far the most popular way people transact, in person service will never go out of style” said Mr. Carter.

“We’re taking a fresh look at how we serve our customers and Saturday trading is the perfect complement to the $41 million we’ve invested in renovating our branches over the last year.”

“We want to make sure that our customers can bank when it works for them. Between work, picking up kids and personal appointments, trying to get additional errands done during the week is tricky at best. That’s why we’re designing NAB around what suits our customers and providing more access for those who rely on face-to-face service.”

New Saturday branch locations:

Victoria: Keysborough, Cranbourne, Fountain Gate, Eastland, Epping, Watergardens, Northland
New South Wales: Miranda, Hornsby, Eastgardens, Bondi Junction
Queensland: Indooroopilly, Robina
South Australia: Modbury
Western Australia: Success
Northern Territory: Palmerston
Australian Capital Territory: Belconnen

Locations added in November 2024:

Victoria: Dandenong, Hoppers Crossing, Doncaster
New South Wales: Bankstown, Parramatta Westfield, Liverpool
Queensland: Chermside, Sunnybank Plaza, Carindale
South Australia: Marion
Western Australia: Karrinyup, Cannington

“It’s been tough trying to fit everything in during the week. Organising all of our loan documents remotely due to work has been challenging, it’s much more reassuring being able to talk to someone face-to-face. And knowing we can now come in on a Saturday instead of having to leave work early or visit the branch during a lunch break when working from home is great,” Cameron said.

“It will be way more convenient to pop in a Saturday to sort everything out,” Brooke added.
