NAB’s Chadstone branch will throw open its doors for Saturday trading, bringing the total number of branches open on Saturday to 31 across Australia.
Banking can now be done on the weekend while perusing the aisles of Melbourne’s fashion capital or doing the weekly grocery shop.
NAB Personal Bank executive Belinda Mamet said the Chadstone addition follows the successful rollout of 30 branches open for Saturday trade since November last year.
“We know how busy customers are from Monday to Friday, so this move just makes sense,” Ms Mamet said.
“While digital banking is the most popular form of service, but we also know that sometimes people prefer to do their banking face-to-face, which is why we’re making it easier for customers.
“We’ve had fantastic feedback already and we’re looking to add more branches in high foot traffic locations to our Saturday program.
“It’s about making sure our customers can visit a branch when it is convenient for them and providing more access for those who would like a personal interaction/service.”
NAB has invested $38 million in renovating and upgrading NAB branches across the country during the past 12 months.
