NAB today announced that Group Executive People and Culture Susan Ferrier will retire from NAB on 31 October 2023.

Ms Ferrier joined NAB in 2019 from KPMG, most recently as Global Head of People, and has an international human resources career spanning more than 30 years across financial and professional services.

Group CEO Ross McEwan said Ms Ferrier had led the People and Culture team through a significant increase in capability and impact during almost four years with the bank.

“I am grateful to Susan for the outstanding role she played in leading the company’s response to the pandemic,” Mr McEwan said.

“Susan has contributed towards our ambition to drive a high performance culture at NAB.

“She has been passionate about our professionalism and consistent approach to supporting customers and colleagues.”

Ms Ferrier intends to transition after her retirement into non-executive director roles. She is a director with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Committee for Sydney and the Financial Executives Institute of Australia.

A successor for Ms Ferrier will be selected in due course.
