  • NAB Goodies reward and recognition program is now live in the NAB app
  • Offers include cashbacks and discounts from more than 50 leading brands
  • More than half of Australians looking for deals and researching before buying

More than $1 million in cashbacks and discounts have already been claimed by NAB customers since the launch of NAB Goodies in the NAB app recently.

Fuel, coffee and food delivery deals top the list when it comes to the most used offers, with NAB focused on serving reward value where customers spend most frequently.

NAB Goodies rewards customers through the NAB app for their everyday banking transactions with offers including cash backs and discounts from more than 50 leading Australian brands including Dan Murphys, Nespresso, David Jones and Ampol.

NAB Personal Banking executive Ethan Sun said NAB Goodies was built in response to feedback from customers on the rewards they wanted most from their bank.

“Since NAB Goodies launched in the app in June nearly 120,000 customers have benefited from receiving a cashback or discount deal, giving $1.2 million back in their pockets,” Mr Sun said.

“This is on top of the $3 million in cashback that’s been awarded to NAB customers in the past year through our existing rewards offers and partnerships.

“Importantly, it is about rewarding customers for the things they spend on every single day.”

NAB’s latest research shows more than half of Australians are looking for deals and doing their research before making a purchase.

“It is not surprising that food delivery, coffee and fuel are top of the list in deals claimed, as these are the areas Australians are looking to cut back the most on to deal with cost of living,” Mr Sun said.

“Saving $5 on fuel, $10 on your grocery shop and $20 on a pair of school shoes for the kids can quickly add up and help relieve the financial pressure in some other areas.”

NAB Goodies is available to all NAB customers who hold a personal debit or credit card giving them to access benefits straight away from the convenience of their NAB app without the need to transfer out to another rewards program or to move through different loyalty tiers.

NAB Goodies is just another way we’re giving customers a hand with their savings. NAB sends millions of reminders in the NAB app each year, so Australians can make the most of their money. These tips help customers get more interest, reach their savings targets, and enjoy extra benefits on their savings accounts.
