Two woman leaders at NAB Private Wealth have achieved international accolades at last night’s Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2024, held in London.

NAB Private Client Executive Natalie Irvine was awarded Female Private Banker of the Year for the second consecutive year, becoming the first ever back-to-back winner in the category. Her win at the 2023 Awards was also the first time an Australian banker had received the honour.

JBWere CIO Sally Auld was also awarded Outstanding Contribution by a Chief Investment Officer, Australia and New Zealand.

NAB Executive Private Wealth Michael Saadie said the awards reflected Natalie and Sally’s laser like focus on client outcomes, as well as the collective strength of the NAB Private Wealth team.

“Natalie and Sally personify what we are building at NAB Private Wealth. They live and breathe the needs of their clients and apply that focus to their business roles,” Mr Saadie said.

“Their dedication and enormous contribution to our 1000+ strong team of professionals has paved the way for NAB Private Wealth becoming Australia’s most awarded private bank.

“Natalie’s achievement reflects her talent and consistent drive as an exceptional banker, while Sally has been a force for positive change since joining JBWere in 2020.

“Ultimately, these awards are testament to the fact that our clients are always front of mind – they are the driving force behind everything we do.”

Commenting on her second consecutive accolade as Female Private Banker of the Year, Natalie Irvine said it was an honour to accept the award on behalf of her team and clients.

“Receiving this award on a global stage reinforces the conversations that we have with our team and with our clients about the importance of encouraging women to engage with finance – both as a career path and in a personal sense,” Ms Irvine said.

“I am proud to be a part of an organisation that is dedicated to nurturing a culture of diversity and inclusivity. I am grateful to our clients for their trust and to my colleagues for their continuous support.”

Sally said the award represents a commitment to clients that their capital is being invested to meet their long-term goals and reflects the combined efforts of her team in delivering exceptional investment advice to JBWere’s clients.

“Understanding the forces behind shifts in the global economy and movements in investment markets and communicating what this means for clients and their investments is critical to our success,” Dr Auld said.

“Our outstanding team at JBWere takes an active role in listening and responding to the financial needs of our clients and it’s why Australians entrust us to invest for now and for future generations.”

Reflecting on the awards, “The expertise of women like Natalie allow us to support customers on their wealth journey, while Sally’s economic and investment insights are instrumental for our business and clients’ businesses,” Mr Saadie said.

“Together their dedication to their clients and deep market expertise ensures that they can deliver high-quality investment strategies to their clients.”
