Hat-trick for NAB Asset Servicing

NAB Asset Servicing, the custody arm of National Australia Bank, has been internationally recognised by being named Best Sub-Custodian – Australia & New Zealand for the third straight year.

The award, announced today in the lead up to Global Finance hosting its fifth annual Transaction Processing Awards in Switzerland in September, confirms NAB Asset Servicing’s position in the top echelon of custodians across the globe.

The recognition caps a promising year for the division, which has recently won contracts with Perennial Value Management, APN Funds Management and Optimal Funds Management.

Executive General Manager John Comito said the award was an endorsement of NAB Asset Servicing’s exceptional service delivery, as well as a reflection of the security provided by one of the world’s safest banks.

“Our ambition is to become the most respected custodian in Australia and New Zealand and we are delighted to be recognised as the provider of choice in these markets.

“This award is due recognition for our on-ground support and expertise in the region.”

Joseph Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance, said that with current global uncertainty, both corporates and individuals are looking for financial partners that will help them through this period of doubt.

“The banks that we recognize with these awards are those best placed to help their clients to successfully navigate these murky waters. They routinely outperform their peers and provide unrivalled service to clients,” he said.

Global Finance will hold its Transaction Processing Awards in Switzerland on September 28 during the SIBOS conference.
