National Australia Bank (NAB) has today announced Julie Rynski has been appointed to the role of Executive General Manager Specialised Banking, reporting to Chief Customer Officer, Business and Private Banking, Angela Mentis.

In this role, Julie will lead NAB’s team of dedicated bankers in Agribusiness, Health, Education, Government and Community and Franchising to deliver specialist banking services and extend NAB’s market share in Australia’s fastest growing sectors.

Ms Rynski joins NAB from Westpac where she was General Manager Small, Medium Enterprises and Connect NOW, a role in which she established a dedicated SME division, drove significant improvements in NPS and introduced pre-approved limits for existing customers.

Commenting on the appointment, Ms Mentis said: “Australia’s future economic prosperity is inextricably linked to fast growth sectors like Agribusiness, Health and Education.

“NAB has a long and proud history backing these businesses and we’re continuing to support their growth with more bankers, deeper industry insights, and innovative digital solutions such as Australia’s first HICAPS Mobile digital platform, which will make it easier for customers to locate, make appointments and pay for healthcare services on the go.

“Julie’s leadership strengths, deep understanding of specialised banking and passion for customers will ensure we continue to deliver a great customer experience.”

NAB was awarded as ‘Best Industry Specialisation’ in the Australian Business Banking Awards, recognised for its strengths including industry expertise, support for specialist advisers and proven service tailored to the nominated industry.
