NAB has today welcomed the South Australian Government’s announcement that it will drop its proposed state bank tax.

NAB Group Chief Executive Officer and Australian Bankers’ Association Chairman Andrew Thorburn said: “This is the right result for all South Australians.

“The business community needs sound, long-term policies and certainty to invest in their businesses, create jobs and build a stronger South Australian economy. Today’s decision makes South Australia a more attractive place to do business.”
