NAB is pleased to announce a new branch location at Westfield Kotara, bringing a modern banking experience to the heart of Newcastle’s retail precinct.

Located on Northcott Drive, the new site was chosen for its convenience and accessibility, making it easier for customers to include banking in their everyday routines.

NAB Hamilton Branch Manager Megan Dyson said:

“We’re really looking forward to kicking off construction in March next year. The new branch will have Smart ATMs with the latest tech, private spaces where customers can chat with us about their banking and a welcoming open layout that makes it easy to pop in to get help with something more detailed.

“This move isn’t just about changing locations – it’s about building something better for our customers and investing in the future of banking in our community.

Following the end of the Hamilton branch lease in July, customers can continue to do their face-to-face banking at NAB’s Newcastle branch, just two kilometres away.

“We’re excited to bring our customers along on this journey. Our new space will help us deliver the kind of human service that makes a real difference,” Ms Dyson said.

In the meantime, customers can expect minimal disruption to their banking:

  • NAB’s business customers in Hamilton and surrounding areas will continue to be supported by their local banker.
  • NAB customers can also access face-to-face banking through nearby post offices, including the Hamilton Post Office (250m from the branch) and Broadmeadow Post Office (1.3km from the branch).

This relocation reflects NAB’s long-standing commitment to the Hunter region, where we’ve proudly served customers for more than 150 years.
