NAB has launched market-leading offers for unsecured lending on Personal Loans and Credit Cards to help customers as they get their finances in order for the New Year.

From today, NAB is offering the best unsecured Personal Loans of the major banks with 11.99%p.a. for variable loans and 12.99%p.a. for fixed loans.

NAB is also offering 0% interest on balance transfers for 15 months across all its personal Credit Cards. These offers are available for all new cards and new Personal Loans.

These offers represent the lowest unsecured Personal Loan variable rate NAB has offered in more than seven years and the lowest fixed rate in more than six years.

General Manager Everyday Banking, Consumer and Cards, Michael Shurlin said the offers would help customers looking to manage their personal finances for the year ahead.

“We want to make it easier for our customers to get on top of their finances in the New Year with our market-leading offers,” he said.

“At NAB we are proud of our track record of being the most competitive of the major banks and of driving competition. We have shown this time and again because what’s good for our customers is good for our business.

“We have the best products in market and the people and the service to back it up.”

Mr Shurlin said Personal Loans were an effective way to pay down debt customers may have acquired elsewhere.

“Many NAB Personal Loan customers take out six-year loans, but pay down their debt within 3 years, saving them over $3,000 in interest. NAB is the only major bank that doesn’t charge any early exit fees on Personal Loans, including on fixed rate loans, helping save our customers even more.”
