NAB’s Yeppoon team has opened the doors to the brand-new branch in the heart of the regional Queensland town, following a $1.3 million investment in the community.

Yeppoon branch manager Melissa Cameron couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming customers to the new site in the busy Bay Plaza Shopping Centre.

“After operating out of a ‘bank in a box’ for the past few months, we’re thrilled be settling into our new home in the Yeppoon community,” Mrs Cameron said.

“Our branches, especially those in regional Australia, are more than just buildings; they are cornerstones of the communities we serve.

“This makeover at the Yeppoon branch means we’re here for the long haul, ready to offer top-notch service to our customers.”

NAB maintains the strongest regional presence of any major bank in Australia, with 48% of its branch network serving regional communities. Over the past year, NAB has invested $41 million across its branches to better serve customers.

NAB Personal Bank Executive Paul Carter said the new Yeppoon branch shows the bank’s commitment to improving services and accessibility.

“While the vast majority of transactions are done online, people still value good old-fashioned face to face banking,” Mr Carter said.

“That’s why we are thrilled to invest in towns like Yeppoon. Australians appreciate excellent banking apps and online services, but when they need it the most, they want a dedicated team like the one we have at Yeppoon to help them.”

The new Yeppoon branch features open teller services, meeting rooms for customers with Zoom technology, a smart ATM  and a digital bar.
