Customers now have access to all of National Australia Bank’s (NAB) services in one Townsville location following the opening of a new central Townsville Hub.

The Hub, located at 420 Flinders Street in the central business district, brings together NAB Townsville’s Retail and Business Banking Centres with a team of 60 employees to assist with Retail, Business Banking, Agribusiness and Private Wealth banking needs.

NAB Executive General Manager Retail Melissa Reynolds said NAB had a long and proud history in Townsville dating back to 1884 and was committed to investing in the city and region.

“Townsville is a growing community and by bringing our services together at the new central Hub we hope this will make life easier for our customers to do all their banking in one place.

“Whether you require a personal loan to buy a car, a home loan, a business credit card or advice on trade risk management, the team is equipped to help customers every step of the way,” Ms Reynolds said.

As well as bringing services together, the hub will have all of NAB’s latest customer service bank technology.

The new Hub includes an internet banking kiosk with an iPad and MacBooks, a Teller Zone and a Transaction Zone with two smart ATMs and a Business Change Machine. In addition, the Hub has a dedicated Business Conversation Banking Zone where customers can conduct business and speak to bankers for advice or guidance to suit their needs.

“The new hub is designed with both dedicated sales and transaction zones to help with more complex issues as well as self-service technology for those customers that want the convenience of helping themselves,” Ms Reynolds said.

“Our goal is to provide customers with great service, access to innovative and intuitive technology, and a team of bankers who can provide personal help, guidance and advice.”
