New Visa Debit Card and PIN experience

Our 3.3 million NAB Visa Debit Card customers currently make around 500,000 PIN sets / resets each year, and have told us they want more control and a more modern experience when it comes to setting, activating and managing their PIN.

Further, 16% of customer feedback we receive is from customers unhappy that they don’t know when their new Visa Debit Card will be delivered.

So, our team has been working to make it easier for you to order a new Visa Debit Card and manage your PIN.

Customers can now self-activate their new card and self-select a PIN via the NAB mobile app or Internet Banking, in addition to the traditional channels such as through our call centre or branches.

Additionally, customers can also activate their new Visa Debit Cards via SMS – an Australian first! This will benefit around 400,000 customers that take out a Visa Debit Card with us each year.
