Plum named Retail Super Fund of the Year – Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards

Australians have named Plum the Retail Super Fund of the Year in Roy Morgan’s prestigious Customer Satisfaction Awards.

This is the second year in a row Plum has been recognised for having the most satisfied super fund customers, from Roy Morgan’s annual survey of more than 30,000 people nationwide.

Plum is MLC’s leading corporate superannuation provider, offering integrated and innovative superannuation solutions and market leading value to members.

“This award is testament to our commitment to delivering outstanding service and returns, and putting our members at the centre of everything we do,” MLC Executive General Manager of Corporate and Institutional Wealth Paul Carter said.

“We partner with our members to not only deliver outstanding superannuation returns, but also market leading insurance protection and trusted financial advice through their super fund.

“For example, Plum’s Pre Mixed Moderate fund has rewarded members with above median performance across 1, 3, 5 and 7 year periods.

“Our customers also pay lower premiums for insurances held within Plum super while receiving clearer and simpler to understand benefits.”

Mr Carter said that with an ageing population facing a trillion dollar retirement savings gap, engaging Australians and encouraging them to take control of their financial future was one of the biggest challenges facing the nation.

“Through our specialist education consultants and relationship managers we engage our members early to help them appreciate the importance of super, insurance and preparing for retirement,” he said.

“This includes industry leading, holistic member services to help customers take control of their financial wellbeing, ranging from workplace education sessions to community town hall events on everything from women and superannuation to understanding self managed super.”
