Customers can expect more from banks

Following ASIC’s approval of the new Banking Code of Practice today, NAB CEO Andrew Thorburn said:

“The Code raises the bar that banks must meet every day for our customers to deliver the service they can and should expect.

“At NAB we are committed to listen and respond to be better and the Code will hold us to that commitment as we work to grow trust and respect in our bank and industry.

“We will prioritise implementing the Code as quickly as possible as part of our determination to be better.”
