NAB-owned wealth management provider MLC has promoted Jasia Fabig into the role of General Manager, MLC Advice, following the growth and success of its MLC Advice network.

The newly created role comes as part of a broader strategy to integrate the MLC Advice network into Advice Partnerships – with its own general management structure and a unique strategic plan for growth.

Ross Barnwell, General Manager, Advice Partnerships, believes the new management structure to be led by Jasia will help to accelerate the growth of the MLC Advice business, while offering new opportunities for advisers to grow their businesses.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Jasia into the new role as General Manager at MLC Advice following her success in a range of advice roles within the industry.

We believe the future growth of the MLC Advice network is best supported by one team under a general manager. We’re confident that Jasia’s extensive career, depth of knowledge, and understanding of the wealth business at both strategic and practice levels will be valuable to the growth of MLC Advice,” said Mr Barnwell.

Jasia has had success across a range of roles at MLC over the past 14 years. Most recently, she has led the national Practice Development team in the Head of Practice Development position for over three years.

Prior to joining MLC, Jasia spent several years as the Head of Sales and Strategy at St George Financial Planning Services. Jasia honed her skills as a Practice Development Manager for over nine years at MLC in the earlier stages of her career.

Commenting on her new role, Jasia said, “I’m looking forward to the new role and to be overseeing the integration of MLC’s Advice offering. The integration of the business offers a great opportunity for us to continue to grow the channel, and I’m thrilled to be at the forefront of the changing business in the coming years.”

The future growth of the MLC Advice network will be supported by one team under Jasia’s direction – bringing together the Account Management, Adviser Development Management and Franchise Management functions.
