NAB Financial Planning (NAB FP) today announced two key appointments to its leadership team, Andrew Gregory as General Manager, Victoria/Tasmania, and Gary Wood, Head of Client Experience & Advice Development.

These appointments are part of changes at NAB FP to provide enhanced support to its advisers to deliver strong outcomes for customers. Key to this will be a greater focus on supporting financial advisers at a local level.

Andrew Gregory, General Manager, Victoria/Tasmania, NAB FP

Andrew will be responsible for NAB FP in Victoria/Tasmania. Andrew brings solid experience, having held senior roles in financial services and the private health insurance industry. Andrew joins NAB from AMP Ltd where he was Head of Financial Planning for AMP Financial Planning and Hillross Financial Services. Andrew’s expertise lies in private wealth management, corporate finance and corporate governance.  Andrew is also a Company Director of Peoplecare Health and the Youth Insearch Foundation.

Gary Wood, Head of Client Experience & Advice Development, NAB FP

Gary will oversee the delivery of NAB FP’s client experience and its ongoing service proposition and execution of adviser development and capability programs. Gary joins NAB FP from ipac/AMP, where he was most recently Head of Client Services. In his role he led his team through a period of significant integration, including the development of ipac’s systems and processes from separate licensees and offices into a single operating system.  Prior to ipac he spent five years as Head of Business Operations at AMP Horizons.

Tim Steele, General Manager of NAB Financial Planning, said both appointments mark the beginning of an exciting evolution for NAB FP, its advisers and their clients.

“We are absolutely committed to enhancing support for our advisers to assist them in delivering exceptional outcomes for NAB FP clients. These leadership appointments are one of the first steps to seeing that commitment through.

“Andrew is a highly respected leader and is passionate about the delivery of high quality advice and experience for customers. We are pleased and excited to have someone of his ability leading the Victorian and Tasmanian regions for NAB FP. Andrew has a track record of leading large teams to help advisers grow their businesses and provide customers with high quality financial advice and an exceptional experience.”

“We are delighted to also welcome Gary to NAB FP in a newly-created leadership position focusing on improving the client experience and supporting our advisers to grow and develop in their careers.  Gary is a proven leader who has a deep understanding of the advice profession and a passion for education. Gary brings extensive experience in financial services, and we look forward to his significant contribution to the evolution of our business.”

Andrew and Gary will both start with NAB FP in April 2017.
