NAB has been recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as an employer of choice for gender equality.

NAB Group CEO Andrew Thorburn said: “We are very proud to again be recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as an employer of choice.

“Australian workplaces are making progress and I feel that we are on the right track, but there is certainly more work to be done and more work we can do here at NAB.

“The corporate sector has a major role to play in championing gender equality and as a Victorian Male Champion of Change it is something we are determined to improve, but we’re not there yet,” he said.

As a Victorian Male Champion of Change, Andrew Thorburn recently had an editorial in The Herald Sun which can be read here.
