NAB has again topped the KangaNews survey, the leading independent assessment of Australian debt research.

For the third year in a row NAB has achieved top ranking in the overall category of the survey which asks institutional investors in the Australian fixed-income market to rank the research they receive across a range of sectors.

NAB now holds the title for best overall research on Australian fixed income, as well as best research on foreign exchange, trade ideas and relative value, macroeconomics and global markets.

KangaNews revealed the results of its 12th Annual Fixed-Income Research Poll on 30th May 2022.

The poll is intended for the Australian domestic fixed-income investor community to recognise the analysts providing the best coverage of the local debt markets in terms of research and desk analysis. It is also an opportunity to offer feedback to analysts and improve service to investors.

Since it was first conducted, in 2011, it has become the leading independent assessment of Australian debt research, and the considered input of the investor community is vital to its credibility.

NAB Chief Economist Corporate & Institutional Banking Ivan Colhoun and Skye Masters Head of Markets Strategy welcomed the results.

“It’s wonderful for NAB’s Research team to again be recognised as the best overall provider of research for Australian fixed income investors by KangaNews and win four other categories also”.

“The NAB Research team has consistently been very highly rated over many years combining a passion for understanding developments in the Australian and global economies and markets with a true focus on customer service,” Mr Colhoun said.
